Faculty Faculty need to apply for a JI
Visa through the Office of International Students and Scholars (OISS): The application form is
available here. Detailed instructions on how to
apply can be accessed here. After completing the
application form for the JI visa, applicants should submit one copy of the
form along with a fee of $40 per year to the departmental representative in
charge of visas, as the OISS requires the representative's signature to
verify the faculty appointment before processing the visa application. Please allow one month to six weeks for the
application process to be completed. Students Visiting students need to apply
for a J-1 visa for non-degree study at UCLA.
